Every year, nearly 1,000 volunteers dedicate six hours to help 50 nonprofits improve their facilities.
Save the Date: Community Day 2017, Saturday May 20, 2017
Community Day allows nonprofits to spend their budgets on critical areas like programming and staffing to help the children and families they serve. 2016’s Community Day was a huge success, raising $707,257.54 in labor, supplies, and monetary donations. Amp the Cause’s volunteers generated a combined 6,000 hours over the course of a single, six-hour day.
Community Day is a wonderful opportunity for volunteers to give back to their community and learn more about local nonprofits. Teams of volunteers will go out to 50+ sites and participate in various facility improvement projects, including: landscaping, indoor and outdoor painting, general cleaning, and other facility improvement tasks.
