Volunteer Opportunities

It is through the amazing support and dedication of our volunteers that Amp the Cause is able to host events and community service projects to benefit the 50+ local charities we partner with through the year.

As a volunteer for Amp the Cause, a Denver based nonprofit organization, you will work side-by-side with others who share your passion for supporting organizations that positively impact the lives of children and families in our community. The work we do at Amp the Cause can’t be accomplished alone, it takes caring and dedicated volunteers. It takes a village!

Why Volunteer?

Our volunteers are a driving force for the success of our organization. As an Amp the Cause volunteer in Denver, there are many of different opportunities to be connected with your passion. Creating community change takes more than just money or programs. To create true and lasting change that benefits an entire community, it takes people who are willing to go where their time and talent is most needed. With that said, people choose to volunteer for a number of different reasons.

  • #1 Giving back to the community!

Your volunteer time impacts your community in a great way. The time you spend is a true gift to others, whether it's creating a project or spending time with someone who needs and appreciates it, you are giving back to your community

  • #2 Help others less fortunate or without a voice

Sometimes we can take the things we have for granted. When you volunteer with Amp the Cause or elsewhere, you have the chance to help bring aid, support, and love to those that have less than you.

  • #3 Feel valued and part of a team

Many projects require a group of individuals. Especially at Community Day, some of the projects are extremely large! Whether you sign up as an individual prior to Community Day or you sign up with friends, colleagues, or family members, you will be working as a team to complete something incredible. The bond that you create with your team could last a lifetime!

  • #4 Spend quality time away from work or a busy lifestyle

Decompress from a busy lifestyle by volunteering! It is a great way to distract yourself from your everyday stressors.

  • #5 Gain a new perspective

Volunteering gives you the opportunity to learn about others, about ways of life, about different cultures.

  • #6 Meet a requirement

Some higher education institutions, employment opportunities, clubs, and leadership organizations require you to have a certain number of community service or volunteer hours. Why not spend your time with as a volunteer for Amp the Cause?

  • #8 Stay busy

Do you feel bored doing the same thing every week? VOLUNTEER AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

  • #7 Build new skills or knowledge

Do you feel bored doing the same thing every week? VOLUNTEER AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Do you sit at a desk in front of a computer all day? Do you do manual labor as a profession? Try something new! Volunteering can give you the opportunity to try a variety of new things. Perhaps you find that you are really good at something you never knew.

  • #9 Intrinsic value

That feel good, warm and fuzzy feeling. Volunteering makes you feel good about yourself for doing good!

What do our volunteers do?

Volunteers are critical members of the Amp the Cause Team! Volunteers can do a little bit of everything, depending on the event that peaks their interest. We offer volunteer roles helping at our large scales concerts, wrapping Christmas gifts for children or even driving a golf cart at our brand new tournament! Amp the Cause offers volunteer experiences that range from positions for individuals interested in volunteering on a regular basis to opportunities for corporate or church groups interested in larger community-wide service projects.
